In the past month and a half, I feel like a hurricane has passed, hurled everything up into the air, dropped it in a neatly organised order and left again to set its rage elsewhere.
In essence, a lot seems to have happened, yet everything feels in order.
My time in Canada was blissful. Filled with art, creativity, learning and of course friends and family. And, out of the blue (!) a stint at flying as well!
I finally managed to clear out the last 2 boxes of things I had left in Canada and brought back what was left in a suitcase to London. The little that I own is now with me and can easily fit in a few boxes. Such a fantastic feeling of knowing that all my little bits from childhood up until now are all here with me.
And now, to the delight of my slightly tired wanderlust feet, a little hint of stability has crept-in since my return.
A beautiful art studio, sorted out by Dan, in a vibrant neighbourhood near The Lanes in the heart of Brighton, right by the sea.
A space just for me, for the entire summer, where all I need to worry about is not worrying about anything. Simply creating and seeing what emerges.
So the next couple of months are set aside to do what I’ve wanted to do for so long but thought it would be unattainable – sit quietly and just create, seeing what comes up, what meets me during those moments of bliss.
And of course, I will endeavour to share with you, my faithful readers, what I concoct!
Thanks for the thousands of views on MAM!
Now let’s cheer to a wonderful and creative summer!
