A week of discoveries

It’s hard to believe that only a week ago we arrived in Delhi. It really does seem like much longer than that.

We’ve been lucky enough to meet with several organisations that operate in different areas of the city, supporting various projects. I am working on a couple of photo projects and Dan and I are also volunteering each afternoon with children. It’s been an exhausting pace – they are so eager to learn that we sometimes have trouble keeping up with them! But as you can imagine, we would not change a thing. But what’s fantastic is to come home to some great friends.

I will tell you more about these organisations at a later time, but until then, here are some of the people we’ve met recently. And I warn you – their smiles are contagious! 🙂

This gentleman insisted heavily on me taking a pic of him and his bottles, which are often a small but important source of income when sold to recycling centres.
